Blink Fitness will open its newest Brooklyn location on June 21, 2016, in Canarsie at 2029 Flatlands Ave.
“We are excited to open our doors, bringing our ‘Mood Above Muscle’ philosophy to the Canarsie community,” said Coleen Woods, Club Manager. “We’re sure that Blink will become a healthy, happy hub of activity in the neighborhood.”
As a part of the Grand Opening celebration, Blink Fitness will donate 50 one-year memberships, worth more than $10,000, to My Time Inc., an organization dedicated to supporting, empowering, educating, enlightening and uplifting parents of children diagnosed with autism and developmental disabilities to live a quality of life they deserve in their community.
“We are so excited to receive this generous donation from Blink Fitness. Partnering with Blink aligns with our program of teaching the parents within our organization the importance of emotional and physical wellness,” said Lucina Clarke, Executive Director and Founder, My Time Inc. “This donation provides them an outlet to work on their own wellbeing, helping them learn the value of taking care of themselves and the inherent results of not only feeling good but also becoming stronger parents.”
The newest Blink Fitness facility will boast a broad offering of top-of-the-line strength equipment that includes free weights, plates, and machines for upper body, lower body, and core, as well as a wide variety of premium cardio machines and a multi-use space for additional exercises, stretching, and functional training.
Certified personal trainers will also be available for those members who wish to create a custom workout experience.
