BioLite, the outdoor lighting and energy solutions brand, refreshed its rechargeable headlamp line with three new headlamps, including Headlamp 325, Headlamp 425 and Headlamp 800 Pro.
BioLite Headlamps integrate electronics into a slim, wearable headband called 3D SlimFit. Launched in 2018, the headband’s construction offered the “first” zero-bounce headlamp design. With its latest update, BioLite developed product and firmware refinements based on customer feedback.
- Headlamp 425 delivers more lumens, longer run times, USB-C rechargeability, an updated rear battery pack with a slimmer profile and red safety light, and a reserve-battery mode. Additional enhancements include a glove-friendly on/off button and “Run Forever Mode,” with power from an external battery pack.
- HeadLamp 800 PRO equips mountain guides, search and rescue crews and outdoor professionals. New capabilities include a “Pass-Thru Plus” charging functionality to circumvent the headlamp battery with an external battery pack that could be kept close to the body for operation in extreme cold. Constant Mode controls how the headlamp expends battery life and lumen output.
- HeadLamp 325 delivers 125 more lumens and 66 percent longer battery life at the same weight as its predecessor.
