Bike Expo said exhibitor registration for the three-year-old German trade show is running 26 percent ahead of last year thanks in part to its expansion into all segments of the cycling industry.

The trade show, which will be held at the New Munich Trade Fair July 21-24, will feature  Road, Mountain, Urban and E-Bikes in a venue with indoor riding options and exhibitions.

In addition to the Dirt Jump Contest and FMBA Silber Event Go Big or Go Home, this year’s show will also be the venue for the 2nd Maßcup featuring 24 international Bike Polo teams. The Pump Club Track, true to the motto Pump Track Meets Velodrome, offers steep curves, small doubles, and a washboard section. MTB 4Cross runner-up world champion Roger Rinderknecht and other stars will compete with visitors in three fast rounds on the 60-meter-long indoor track.

Brands, such as Bionicon, Contour, Haibike, POC, Radon, Rose, SR Suntour and TSG will display their latest products in their booths surrounding the event area.

There will also be considerable space dedicated the the rapidly growing e-bike market. Bionx, BH Bikes, Flyer, Kettler, Kalkhoff, MyStromer, NuVinci, Panther, Sachs Bikes, and TranzX will present their E-Mobility innovations.

The number of textile manufacturers exhibiting at the Munich-based show is also on the increase. To date, market greats such as Craft, Löffler, Maloja and Vaude have registered to exhibit at Bike Expo 2011.
