Big Rock Sports promoted Brian Phillips to president and Mark Charnot to COO.

Phillips has held many roles since joining the outdoor sporting goods distributor in 2010 as director of national accounts. Most recently, as senior vice president of sales and merchandising. Before joining Big Rock Sports, he spent 14 years working for United Technologies and Jarden Consumer Solutions, where he supported the Hardware/Home Improvement and Sporting Goods sectors.

As COO, Charnot assumes responsibility for operations, supply chain, human resources, and demand planning. As vice president of operations, Charnot helped direct the BRS operations team. He joined the company in 2018 and implemented the Achieve Labor Management Program to increase efficiency and lower operating costs. He led the operational integration of a major acquisition and guided Big Rock through the pandemic, opening and expanding a new distribution center in Charlotte, NC to meet volume and capacity challenges.
