Big Rock Sports, LLC hired Steve Dorey, former vice president of sales and general manager of Maurice Sporting Goods Canadian division, as vice president of national accounts, Canada.

Dorey is a graduate of the University of Waterloo and has over 25 years of experience in the sales, marketing and distribution of outdoor products in Canada. Dorey has held executive level positions within the industry for the past 10 years. This vast experience will be a key to helping Big Rock Sports build long-term infrastructure and
programs to support both the independent retailer and the national account business across all of Canada.
Dorey has joined Big Rock Sports effective January 1, 2011 and will maintain an office in the Toronto area. Dorey will report directly to Andy Melville, EVP Sales & Marketing.
