Benchmade Knife Company, based in Oregon City, OR, has been recognized for the fourth year in a row by the Portland Business Journal as one of Oregon’s Most Admired Companies in the ‘Product Makers and Designers’ category along with Nike, Adidas and Columbia Sportswear.
2020 has been a year of change and growth for the company with Jon deAsis assuming the role of President & CEO, its manufacturing facilities updated to meet COVID-19 safety protocols and the brand winning design awards for the Bugout and Mini Bugout knife including Popular Science’s ‘Gear of the Year Award,’ Men’s Health ‘Outdoor Award’, Gear Junkie’s ‘Gear of the Year Award,’ and Sunset Magazine’s ‘Best Outdoor Gear Innovation Award’.
