Bass Pro Shops plans to open a new store in North Palm Beach, FL. The Bass Pro Shops World Wide Sportsman store will be located on U.S. 1 north of PGA Boulevard. An opening date for the new 75,000-square-foot World Wide Sportsman store will be announced at a later time.

This will be the companys 15th store in Florida as they currently operate nine stores in the state; while new locations have been announced at Tampa, Daytona, Jacksonville, Gainesville, and Sarasota. The Bass Pro Shops World Wide Sportsman store will hire approximately 200 full- and part-time associates from the area.

Our new World Wide Sportsman store will emphasize saltwater tackle and boats. This location will allow us to serve local sportsmen as well as the many visitors to this area each year. In addition, the store will be a tribute to the great sporting tradition and heritage of the region and a celebration of the sporting men and women of Florida.
