Baffin introduced Cush (CFL), a limited-run extension of its Hybrid Slipper Collection, with the logos of the Canadian Football League (CFL) and all nine teams.
In November 2022, Baffin and the CFL signed a multi-year partnership, making Baffin the Official Boot of the league and Grey Cup. The launch of Cush (CFL) marks the first licensed product collab between the two organizations.
“We’re thrilled to take our partnership with the CFL to the next level with the first official Baffin x CFL product,” said Mark Hubner, senior vice president of commercial at Baffin. “Cush has been a fan-favorite product for years, keeping customers warm whether they’re setting up camp in the backcountry or pre-game at the stadium. With the launch of Cush (CFL) fans can unleash their game-day spirit by repping the league or their favorite team in style and comfort.”
Cush (CFL) differs from a standard slipper—it’s a “sleeping bag for your feet,” noted Baffin. The indoor/outdoor shoe is made with a Hex-Flex reinforced hexagonal nylon upper for durability, rip-resistance and longevity, has a nylon bottom with added silicon for slip-resistance and a fixed PolyWool polyester wool blend footbed for breathable warmth.
Baffin reported that “Cush (CFL) is Real-World Tested (RWT)* Elemental Rated. Cold comfort is achieved with light activity and proven by Baffin around the Great Lakes, parks and city streets to protect from the elements. Classified as B-Tek Dry Water Resistant, Cush (CFL) offers wet protection seasonally, with a fundamental waterproofing technology able to resist water penetration.”
Cush (CFL) is available in ten colorways.
Per Baffin, *Real-World Tested (RWT) level evolution is a vehicle for bridging the gap between product and application. RWT is a system that helps to recommend cold comfort levels associated with Baffin footwear. Each level has been determined by the extensive use of Baffin products in real-world applications on expeditions and job sites around the world.”
