Axcent Sports, the North American Licensee of the Descente brand for athletic sports has hired Allison Danforth as Director of Product Development to its team in Boulder CO.
Allison comes to Axcent Sports/Descente with more than 12 years of product development experience, including stints at Lowe Alpine and Pearl Izumi. Allison brings a passion for cycling, running and outdoor sports to her new position. As the Director of Product development she will be responsible for all development issues, including fabric development, advanced technical construction and fit, merchandising and product line management, among other responsibilities.
One of Allisons first tasks will be to attend the Outdoor Retailer Show on August 11, 12 and 13 in Salt Lake City. Please join us with a warm welcome for Allison on her start date of July 26th.
