Authentic Brands Group (Authentic) has appointed Jeff Daggett as SVP, head of Japan. With over three decades of industry experience, Daggett is expected to play an integral role in strengthening the company’s presence and driving brand growth in the region.
Daggett is based in Tokyo and will report directly to Authentic’s Regional President, APAC, Wesley Chu. He officially assumed his new role on July 1.
“Jeff’s extensive industry experience and proven track record make him an ideal leader to drive Authentic’s expansion across Japan,” said Chu. “We are excited to welcome his strategic vision and comprehensive understanding of the market, which will not only enhance the visibility of our brands but also fuel significant growth across this pivotal market.”
Authentic reported that Daggett has a proven track record of creating “thriving retail businesses for renowned brands, including Gap, Levi’s, Nike, and Vodafone. He was also instrumental in generating significant revenue streams for Disney and NBC Universal.” With Daggett’s expertise, Authentic said it “aims to accelerate growth and fortify market presence in Japan.”
