In their first collaboration, Asics and C.P. Company reinterpreted Asic’s Gel Quantum360 VIII shoe, drawing on the Italian company’s Urban Agility concept taken from its Metropolis Series, “dedicated to exploring modern urban landscapes.”

Inspired by C.P. Company’s Metropolis Jacket, part of its Urban Protection Project launched in 1999, the Metropolis Series features tone-on-tone branding, functional pocket “systems”, high-performance fabrics including HyST, A.A.C. and Gore-Tex Infinium, and advanced manufacturing techniques.

The reinterpreted Gel Quantum 360 II’s upper features the C.P. Company’s  Metropolis Series logo and 5D print detailing resembling ergonomic shapes found in nature. The midsole features Division Space technology for improved cushioning and less weight and uses Trusstic technology for stability and reinforcement at the heel. FF Blast Plust Eco foam cushioning, made from at least 20 percent biomass content derived from sugar cane, adds resilience and underfoot comfort.
