Asics America Corporation is teaming up with Right To Play (RTP) this holiday season to help get kids moving, powered by the contributions of consumers at Asics stores across the country this Giving Tuesday.

Asics debuted the I Move Me campaign in 2017, which set out to present a contemporary expression of its founding philosophy, Sound Mind, Sound Body, and aimed to bring people together and inspire them to be healthy and happy through movement. Now, through a shared culture and vision, the brand is collaborating with Right To Play – an organization that uses sport and play to help children rise above adversity in deprived communities around the world. The goal of the partnership is to create a lasting impact and empower children with the knowledge and skills to drive change in their lives, their families and their communities.

Beginning on Giving Tuesday, (November 27) and lasting two weeks, Asics will raise funds and awareness to support the important work that RTP carries out every day. Customers who would like to get involved can donate $10 to the organization and receive 20% off* their purchase at point of sale at participating, full price retail Asics locations (not applicable at premium Asics outlet locations or Onitsuka Tiger stores). Each dollar donated will fund one week of play for one child, thus $10 will fund one child for two and half months – almost an entire summer.

“The power of movement and sport is universal and we are excited to partner with Right to Play this holiday season,” said Sarah Bishop, Asics America Vice President of Marketing. “It is our mission to inspire and improve the lives of people of all ages through movement. With Right To Play, we are able to come together and really make a positive impact by supporting the development of kids around the globe.”
