Aquabound/Bending Branches has joined Grassroots Outdoor Alliance (Grassroots) as a Vendor Partner.

Since their first kayak paddle dipped into the Canadian waters in 1991, Aqua-Bound has occupied a special place among paddlers. In large part, because their mission has always been to take what’s best about paddle technology and crank it up a few notches.

This mission has continued since they became part of the Branches, LLC family of paddle brands in 2008. As the world’s largest supplier of quality kayak and canoe paddles, Branches is a privately-held company in Northwestern Wisconsin, staffed by paddling enthusiasts. That translates into countless hours spent designing, prototyping, testing, and perfecting each of their paddles. And when that’s done, they go back and look at ways to build them even better.

“We're excited to be working with the Grassroots Outdoor Alliance,” said Jake Wisse, National Sales Manager for Aquabound/Bending Branches. “These shops are the driving force behind this industry, and we look forward to taking our partnerships to the next level.”

Joe Butler Jr., member of Grassroots Paddlesport Committee and owner of Black Creek Outfitters, said Bending Branches makes a great fit for Grassroots, which represents the interests of independent, often family owned specialty outdoor retailers.

“Being able to do so with a manufacturer that is privately held and passionate about the products they are making is such a great match,” said Butler. “We look forward to working closely with Bending Branches including their sister brand Aquabound for many years to come.”
