American Athletic, Inc., (AAI), the U.S. manufacturer of gymnastics apparatus in all categories, announced United States Olympian Jake Dalton as a new brand ambassador. He joins U.S. fellow Olympians Nastia Liukin, Jonathan Horton, Jordyn Wieber and Alicia Sacramone on Team AAI.

“I am honored to be part of the AAI family,” said Dalton. “I have been fortunate to win many championships while competing at the gymnastic senior level and AAI has been a large part of my titles.”

Dalton, 21, has become accustomed to winning championships since he began competing at the age of five. In 2011, his breakout year, Dalton was the NCAA floor and vault champion, the U.S.  floor and vault champion and a member of the World Championships Team that earned bronze.  In 2012 he was the NCAA all-around champion and defended his titles on floor and vault at the U.S. Championships. That same year he was named to the U.S. Olympic Gymnastics Team and represented the United States at the 2012 Olympic Games in London.

“We’re proud to welcome Jake to Team AAI,” said Paul Sullivan, Senior Vice President of sales and marketing for AAI and Spalding, both divisions of Russell Brands, LLC. “His championship record and commitment to excellence are the same attributes AAI strives for every day. We are excited to be a part of his thriving gymnastics career.”

AAI is the leading U.S. manufacturer of gymnastics apparatus in all categories and the chosen gymnastics equipment supplier for most major championships, including the 1996 and 1984 Olympic Games, World Championships, Goodwill Games, Pan American Games, Special Olympics, and NCAA Championships. AAI has been the only Official Equipment Supplier for USA Gymnastics since the organization was founded in the '60s. AAI is also the only U.S. equipment manufacturer whose line of gymnastics products has been tested and approved by the Federation Internationale de Gymnastique, or FIG, the world's governing body for the sport.
