All Sports Inc., a youth sports advertisement and manufacturing firm, recently set up shop in McLemoresville TN. The company specializes in approaching local businesses to sponsor a “player of the week” from local school athletics, providing advertisement for the business, as well as boosts local involvement and notability for student-athletes.

“A coach will pick the player of the week and tell us; then we will have a sponsor take a picture with the player following the game,” says Jay Bowers, co-director with All Sports, according to The Jackson Sun. “The sponsor will then present the player with a nine-inch trophy. Whoever wants to pay the money to sponsor in a town can do so.”

Operated by Bowers and partner Lindsay Vinson, the company recently leased a 20,000-square-foot building in McLemoresville to serve as both office space and a manufacturing warehouse for sports equipment and trophies.

Over the next 18 months, the company plans to hire 15 to 20 personnel for both sales and manufacturing positions.

“We'll need about half of our people to be able to talk on the phone and send e-mails for marketing campaigns,” Bowers says. “We'll also need people for manufacturing, shipping and laboring. It will be split down the middle.”

To date, All Sports deals with 175 high schools in six states, including prominent regional schools in Jackson, Paris, Waverly, Trenton and Milan. Bowers says the company will also look at fundraising for the related schools.

“Right now we're getting into fundraising deals with some of the schools and the coaches we work with,” Bowers says. “Also, this isn't exclusive to football; we also cover baseball and basketball seasons.”
