Aerosoles announced two key changes to the senior management team with the promotion of Sandy Coviello to chief product officer, a newly created role, and the rehiring of Alena Margolis as senior vice president and general manager, USA Wholesale and First Cost.

“Sandy and Alena bring strong industry and company knowledge into their new roles. I look forward to working closely with both of them and the rest of the organization to continue to evolve the brand and our products to be the leading performance fashion brand in the world empowering women to feel smarter, sexier, confident and inspired every occasion of their lives,” said Shawn Neville, CEO.

In her role as chief product officer for the brand, Coviello will lead design and technology innovation, product development and merchandising across all business units including retail, e-commerce, wholesale and international. Coviello previously led the USA Wholesale and First Cost business units and has over 18 years of experience with Aerosoles in product, sales, merchandising and general management. Coviello’s extensive understanding of both the Aerosoles product and consumer creates the perfect opportunity to deliver more fashion that feels good to both existing and new consumers alike.

“I am very passionate about my new role creating products our consumers love and that look and feel great. We have been focused on accelerating both our fashion relevance and performance technologies which improve comfort, fit, support and energy return to help consumers live better and look great,” said Sandy Coviello.

Alena Margolis has rejoined Aerosoles as senior vice president and general manager, USA Wholesale and First Cost. Margolis has 20 plus years of industry experience and most recently served as vice president of sales for Anne Klein. She also held roles with May Company, QVC and Liz Claiborne and held senior sales and planning roles with Aerosoles earlier in her career.

“I am fortunate to be re-joining Aerosoles with its rich history and even more compelling future with the brand’s new vision and mission. I have always loved Aerosoles and look forward to working with the organization and our retail and dot-com partners to build an even stronger future together,” said Alena Margolis.
