Aeropostale Inc., a specialty retailer of casual apparel for young women and men, entered a partnership with Olympic Gold Medalist Aly Raisman and U.S. Men’s Soccer Star DeAndre Yedlin for its 2016 back-to-school denim campaign.

Raisman is the World Champion and captain of the 2012 U.S. Olympic women’s gymnastics team, and Yedlin is an American soccer player who represented the U.S. at the 2014 FIFA World Cup and is currently on the roster for the 2016 Copa America games.

They will be the stars of Aeropostale’s Seriously Stretchy and Reflex Denim collections.

Fans will also get the chance to meet both athletes in June at an Aeropostale store in their home state. Raisman will visit the Natik Mall in Massachusetts and Yedlin will visit Southcenter Mall in Tukwila, WA.

“Partnering with Aeropostale was a dream come true for me,” said Raisman.  “I’m always competing in a leotard so being able to perform in the Seriously Stretchy Denim was a fun and off-beat way to bring fashion into my everyday routines.”

“I’m always striving to perfect my skills on the field,” said Yedlin. “The fact that I could play my game in jeans was definitely a first.”

The Back-to-School denim campaign kicks off on July 17 and will come to life via social media platforms, digital advertisements, online activations and store-front displays.
