Adidas has reportedly renewed its kit sponsorship with Real Madrid with a new new 10-year deal worth around £840 million. Earlier this year sources said Under Armour was in discussions with the football club as a potential kit replacement.

According to reports in German news outlet Der Spiegel, the La Liga club will receive a fixed annual sum of around £59 million in addition to 22.5 percent of all Adidas’ Real Madrid branded merchandise, worth roughly £25 million per year. Performance-based incentives are also included.

Adidas has been Real Madrid’s kit sponsor since 1998.

Manchester United’s deal with Adidas and FC Barcelona’s one with Nike are each believed to be more lucrative on an annual basis.
