The Oklahoma City Fall Buying Show attended by both NBS and ADA team dealers was a complete success. The joint event was held at the Renaissance Hotel and Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City, OK. There were over 100 team dealers from the two team buying groups in attendance.
The synergy between the two buying groups allowed show exhibitors to save travel time and expenses by attending a single buying show. In addition, members from both groups benefited from seeing more industry vendors at one location.
“The combined presence of both groups resulted in a successful event that was beneficial to all parties, and support from the Vendor / Rep community was overwhelming. Since we have now seen the advantages, we look forward to future opportunities working side by side with the ADA,” said NBS President Jim Chandley
“This was a positive step for both of our groups. This improved the productivity of the show for all attendees while reducing the costs that were associated with vendors and reps attending multiple buying shows. It was a pleasure to work closely with the NBS staff members to host our two groups and our industry vendors,” said ADA President Peter Schneider.
Based on the success of this event, NBS and ADA have begun reviewing opportunities for continued co-located shows in the future.
