Academy Sports + Outdoors announced it opened its first store in Brenham, TX, with a grand opening planned from September 15-17.
Located at 1041 Nolan Street, the approximately 63,000-square-foot space marks the fourth store Academy opened in 2023. Academy plans to continue its retail expansion efforts to open 120 to 140 new stores by the end of 2027.

Based in Katy, TX, Academy has 272 stores across 18 states.
