Under Armour on Monday unveiled a new tongue-in-cheek video, “The Legend of Tom Brady,” featuring New England’s biggest football fans celebrating the feats of the star quarterback while talking about what Brady means to the Boston community. The video was produced by Droga5.
“The film is a montage of New England’s biggest fans speaking to Brady’s many incredible exploits,” Under Armour wrote in a press e-mail. “With Boston as a backdrop, each fan proudly declares Tom’s greatness.”
Among the statements:
“I witnessed Tom Brady throw a football all the way across the Boston Harbor. I was there – I saw it with my own two eyes,” said one Bostonian at the video’s start.
“Every kid in Dorchester legally has to be named Tom or Brady. The girls, too,” says a woman.
Said another, “Enjoy Tom Brady while you can. He’ll only be playing another nine years.”
The short film was posted on Under Armour’s social channels, including Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
