GK Elite Sportswear L.P., a supplier of gymnastics apparel, partnered with Disney to produce a collection of workout leotards.
“Working with The Walt Disney Company is a dream come true,” said Kelly McKeown, GK chief design officer and EVP of corporate relations. “The creative inspiration provided by Disney’s iconic imagery ignited the imagination of our designers to create an exquisite, unique collection of leotards featuring their beloved characters.”
The collection consists of 12 GK leotards, coordinating doll leotards, workout shorts and capris and accessories. The designs feature engineered prints of Minnie Mouse, Disney Princess characters and Disney-Pixar characters.
The collection of leotards will be available on October 3 at gkelite.com or by calling the GK customer service department.
Based in Reading, PA, GK has partnered with more than 10 Olympic athletes and currently offers workout leotards designed by 2016 All-Around Olympic Gold Medalist Simone Biles, 2016 All-Around Olympic Silver Medalist Alexandra Raisman, 2012 All-Around Olympic Gold Medalist Gabrielle Douglas and 2008 All-Around Olympic Gold Medalist Nastia Liukin. GK was chosen by Under Armour to manufacture the US National Team competitive and training apparel for USA Gymnastics through 2020.
