Fitness company Les Mills, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Les Mills International, will relocate the company’s U.S. headquarters to Chicago, IL by November 1, 2016.
The move will increase operational efficiency, facilitating company growth.
Established in Auckland, New Zealand in 1968 by four-time Olympian Les Mills Sr., Les Mills combines music and science for 20 different group exercise, adult team training and youth fitness programs.
“The decision to re-unite the U.S. operations and relocate the headquarters to Chicago is directly attributed to our strategic shift to become more customer-centric and provide 360-degree support services to our customers – enabling them to build stronger relationships with their members and create healthier businesses,” said Les Mills U.S. CEO Brian Gagne.
Les Mills U.S. will move to 363 W. Erie Street in Chicago’s River North neighborhood. With offices previously in Baltimore and San Francisco, the company’s decision to consolidate office locations was based on the proximity to current and potential customers. The Chicago headquarters will provide more efficient collaboration with global partners and will better support Les Mills instructors in U.S. fitness and health facilities, according to the company.
“We see this as a new opportunity to enhance and improve our business, and we look forward to welcoming our team members into a productive environment that will enhance our collaboration and spirit of service,” continued Gagne.
