Leatherman, a manufacturer of high quality multi-tools, will join REI Outessa Summit as a sponsor. Outessa events, the first of their kind, are custom-tailored outdoor weekend getaways for women offering immersive outdoor experiences, hands-on product trials and education from professional athletes and expert guides. The two weekends will be held at Kirkwood Resort near Lake Tahoe, California, from August 19 to 21, and Powder Mountain near Salt Lake City, Utah from September 9 to 11.
As part of the partnership, Leatherman will be hosting multi-tool classes where women can learn how to use the different types of tools a Leatherman offers. REI will also be featuring Leatherman multi-tools in the wilderness survival and backcountry skills classes.
