Descente North America has been named the official clothing sponsor of the Whistler Mountain Ski Club (WMSC) for the next three years.
The Whistler Mountain Ski Club, located in Whistler, British Columbia, has been producing champions in life and in sport since 1968 and has continually produced some of Canada’s top racers. WMSC has hosted the Olympic games in 2010 as well as many World Cup, Nor-Am events and Canada’s National Ski Championships.
The Whistler Cup is the largest children’s international ski race in North America and attracts top athletes from around the world. “We are very excited to be partnering with Descente. Descente has an extensive history in the race world and are a perfect fit for WMSC” said Bob Armstrong, Interim Executive Director at the Whistler Mountain Ski Club.
“The Descente brand is defined by the technology that goes into every product we produce. Partnering with the Whistler Mountain Ski Club and the Whistler Cup was a natural fit and we are very pleased with the opportunity,” said Brook Barney, Product/Marketing Manager at Descente North America.
