Hammer Strength Apparel, a new line of performance wear from DryWear Apparel, LLC, is showing its support to the game of hockey by forging partnerships with the United States Hockey League (USHL) Lincoln Stars and Chicago Steel hockey teams, and sponsoring a local elite conditioning camp.
“We are excited to support these two premier USHL Junior teams. The players work hard on the ice and our apparel is ideal for keeping them dry during their high-performance games,” said Pete Durment, president of DryWear Apparel, LLC., the official licensee of the Hammer Strength Apparel brand.
As a team sponsor, Hammer Strength Apparel has furnished the Lincoln Stars and the Chicago Steel with their high-performance base layer garments, which will also be available in the teams respective pro shops in the local arenas: the Lincoln Star’s “Ice Box” arena in Lincoln, NB; and the Edge Ice Arena in Bensenville, IL, home of the Chicago Steel. Hammer Strength Apparel is also developing other cooperative programs with the teams that may include camps, skills clinics and social media campaigns.
The organization also recently sponsored an “Elite Conditioning Camp” featuring National Hockey League (NHL) Stanley Cup Champion Coach John Torchetti. The camp was coordinated by SRM Consulting and held at Lake Forest Academy in Lake Forest, IL, in June. The weeklong event was designed for amateur players born between 1994 and 1998 to improve their skills, scrimmage and learn new on-ice conditioning techniques.
“We are looking forward to continuing our support of our local and national hockey leagues and helping them stay dry on the ice with Hammer Strength Apparel,” said Durment.
Hammer Strength Apparel is also a partner of the Chicago Youth Football League (TCYFL) and recently launched the apparel line at their season kick-off event in July.
