Dillard’s, Inc. announced that sales for the four weeks ended May 31, 2003 were $536,644,000 compared to sales for the four weeks ended June 1, 2002 of $576,754,000. Sales decreased 7% on both a total and comparable store basis for the four-week period.
Sales for the 17 weeks ended May 31, 2003 were $2,350,555,000 compared to sales for the 17 weeks ended June 1, 2002 of $2,487,633,000. Total sales decreased 6% for the 17-week period. Comparable store sales for the same period decreased 5%.
