Schuylkill Valley Sports has promoted John DeMaria to director of apparel and licensed products. DeMaria will continue his duties in purchasing and merchandising all sports apparel for the 18 store chain.
In addition, DeMaria will be responsible for the expansion of the licensed product concept shop initiative that began in 2009.
“John's expert leadership and 25 years of experience in the sporting goods industry will allow us to successfully expand our presence in NFL, MLB, NHL and NCAA licensed products,” says Greg Baldwin, Vice President of Merchandising. DeMaria has been with Schuylkill Valley Sports since 1996.
