The Buckle, Inc. reported earnings rose 23.1% to $42.1 million, or 92 cents per share, from $34.2 million, or 74 cents, a year ago. Sales increased 9.2% to $274.4 million from $251.4
million a year ago. Comparable store net sales increased 3.8%.

Online sales (which
are not included in comparable store sales) increased 35.6% to
$18.0 million.

Net sales for the 52-week fiscal year ended January 30, 2010 increased 13.4% to $898.3 million from net sales of $792.0 million for the 52-week fiscal year ended January 31, 2009. Comparable store net sales for the 52-week period ended January 30, 2010 increased 7.8% from comparable store net sales for the prior year 52-week period ended January 31, 2009. Online sales (which are not included in comparable store sales) increased 45.2% to $52.3 million for the 52-week period ended January 30, 2010, compared to the 52-week period ended January 31, 2009.

Net income for the fiscal year ended January 30, 2010 was $127.3 million, or $2.79 per share ($2.73 per share on a diluted basis), compared with $104.4 million, or $2.30 per share ($2.24 per share on a diluted basis) for the fiscal year ended January 31, 2009.
