Street Surfing, LLC is transporting Spider-Man from comic books to skate parks and streets this spring with the introduction of the Spider-Man 3-D Wave Board, the first licensed casterboard in the market. As part of its agreement with Marvel Entertainment LLC, Street Surfing has been awarded the rights to develop Wave boards and accessories featuring Spider-Man Classic, Marvel Heroes Classic, Iron Man Classic and Marvel Extreme Classics. Products will be available at mass market retailers, sporting goods stores and specialty stores on-line.
Using colorful graphics and the identical likeness of Marvel Entertainmentâ€s Spider-Man, the makerâ€s of the award-winning Wave casterboard have also incorporated a new technology †a raised rubberized deck plate †to provide a three dimensional Spider-Man and a highly stylized look for riders. The Spider-Man 3-D Wave Board, which retails for $69, will be available this spring.
