Charleston, SC (July 2, 2024) – Free Fly, a Charleston-based brand expanding the apparel industry for water-based pursuits, is thrilled to announce the signing of WSL Women’s Longboard World Champion and adventure fitness enthusiast, Rachael Tilly.
In 2015, Tilly made surfing history by becoming the sport’s youngest ever world champion at 17 years old. Today, Tilly continues to compete professionally while also practicing as an all-around athlete who shares Free Fly’s mission of chasing an unencumbered life outdoors.
Tilly is driven by a love of helping people find strength, confidence, and community through intentional movement. As a pilates teacher off the water, Tilly practices an active lifestyle that supports her passion for all pursuits in and around the ocean.
Tilly shares, “I love competing on the longboard tour, but outside of competition, my life revolves around ocean adventure—sailing, foiling, and fishing,” she continues, “So I’m more than stoked to be paired with a brand that authentically encompasses that.”
