UK-based surf lifestyle apparel brand Finisterre appointed Chris Evans as president and general manager for North America.
Finisterre said Evans brings “a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to sustainability,” most recently having been the VP of international and sustainability at Vissla after nearly five years at Patagonia.
At Patagonia, Evans was the global commercial director for the Surf Division. His extensive surf and beach lifestyle background includes over 11 years working at the Billabong Group.
Evans is also involved in ocean conservation, contributing at the board level for WSL One Ocean, SIMA Waterman’s and in several advisory roles, including Parque Punta de Lobos, Ohana Festival and Tompkins Conservation.
