Benchmade Knife Company has hired four new employees within the customer service, finance, and sales departments.
Andy Wagner has joined the company as a customer service representatives. He will be responsible for answering customer calls and questions, facilitating orders for dealers and customers, invoicing, processing credit memos, and supporting sales rep groups. In addition, Cheryl Hodge is the new Benchmade receptionist.
“Andy and Cheryl have valuable experience and will help to strengthen our commitment to serve Benchmade customers with quality and excellence,” says Benchmade Customer Service manager Kathy Delaplain.
In the Finance department, Darcie Ormandy has been hired as a credit analyst. Her responsibilities include analyzing credit reports, setting and maintaining customer accounts, and providing in-house collections. Ms. Ormandy was formerly a senior credit administrator at from Leatherman Tool Group, Inc.
“Darcie shares seven years of credit management experience, which will help Benchmade better serve our customers and help continue our success,” notes Rick Murphy, Director of Finance.
Finally, Joe Fruechtel is the new Sales Coordinator for the Hardware/Industrial segment. Mr. Fruechtel graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in Business Administration, while also playing football for the Buffaloes. His previous work experience includes Product Development with Leupold & Stevens and Accounting with USA Rugby.
