Sports Basement is opening a storefront in a former Sears store in Long Beach, CA; this is its second store in the Bay Area of Southern California following the opening of its first store in Fountain Valley in 2022.
The store’s address is 2100 N. Bellflower Blvd.
Sears vacated the building in early 2021, according to Long Beach Post. Sports Basement will open the store in the summer of 2024.
The retailer operates 12 stores in California, including three in San Francisco and one each in Berkeley, Campbell, Novato, Fountain Valley, Redwood City, San Ramon, Santa Rosa, and Sunnyvale.
