Nike plans to open a flagship store West Edmonton Mall in Edmonton, which will become Canada’s largest store.

Nike will replace a former Forever 21 location that spanned 22,450 square feet, a 3,260 square foot storefront formerly occupied by Volcom and a 2,127 square foot space recently vacated by Kawaii Alley, according to Retail & Leisure International.

Nike’s largest Canadian store, at Toronto’s Yorkdale Shopping Centre, spans more than 24,500 square feet over two levels. A Nike store under construction at the Montreal Eaton Centre in downtown Montreal will measure about 20,000 square feet over two levels.

Israeli-based Fox Group is advising Nike’s retail expansion in Canada.
