Dodger Sportswear has appointed Mark Adams as president of the company-officially beginning Jan. 4, 2009.

 

Adams, 53, having worked in the industry since the age of 17, comes from Knight’s Apparel based in Spartansburg, SC.

According to Dodger CEO, Steve Throssel, “The hiring of Mark Adams fortifies the company’s management team, especially in the areas of sourcing, logistics and execution. Dodger’s sales focus is Team Dealer and College Bookstore markets. In today’s JIT and low or no inventory environment, timely execution is the key to running a successful business. The company will become more valuable as a vendor if we can pivot quickly and execute.

Adams will be only the 4th president to run the company in the 50
years of Dodger history.
