Julie Skirving has joined Overland Equipment, bringing with her over 20 years sales and marketing experience in the US and Canadian outdoor industries. Most recently, Skirving led the sales and marketing efforts for the Lolë apparel brand in the U.S. market. Previously, she was involved in various sales and marketing roles with well-known outdoor brands such as Sierra Designs, Royal Robbins, Smartwool, Icebreaker, Arc’Teryx and Teva.

“This is such an exciting time to join Overland Equipment,” said Skirving. “I look forward to the growth of this authentic outdoor brand.” Also collaborating with the current Overland team are Lorin Yin – Development Director, Colin Maginnis -Product Developer and Suzi Pritchett- Product Designer.


Overland Equipment’ also plans to introduce an updated brand identity for the OR Winter Market. The  new simplified look reflects “the natural ruggedness of its Chico, California roots, where the company has designed, developed and manufactured casual bags, totes and packs since 1981.”


Overland Equipment’s embossed-leather logo patch will become a part of the brand’s new identity and give the collection a unified look, said the company.
