Altra launched the Mont Blanc BOA trail runner, the first Altra shoe to feature a BOA Fit System. The shoe is for technical trail runners that capitalize on the brand’s technologies—engineered with Altra’s Balanced Cushioning platform, foot shape toe box, Altra’s Ego Max midsole foam, BOA Fit System, and Vibram LiteBase outsole—resulting in a micro-adjustable, breathable and traction-ready shoe.
The Mont Blanc BOA includes PerformFit Wrap powered by the BOA Fit System with customization in two zones; runners gain closer contact with the terrain quickly, no matter the conditions.
“With the Mont Blanc designed as our premium trail product, we wanted to push the on-foot experience even more by working with BOA to provide an elevated dynamic fit,” said Alex Lind, senior product line manager at Altra. “The dual dial system allows runners to tune their fit in two areas and provide a secure fit in variable terrain, and it also allows for on-the-fly adjustments.”
Altra partnered with BOA to perform extensive research to provide a connected, secure fit that improves ankle stability and reduces landing impact. Available in Maroon Bells colorway.
