The Finish Line, Inc. announced that it will extend its partnership with Soles4Souls, the international charity dedicated to providing free footwear to those in need, and will continue the national shoe trade-in program, “Sole Destination,” at all 697 Finish Line store locations across the United States.
The trade-in program has seen tremendous success since its start on “National Barefoot Day” on June 1, 2008. In two months, approximately 30,000 pairs of shoes have been collected. The shoes will go to impoverished communities in the United States and all over the world.
Customers donating a pair of new or used shoes at The Finish Line receive $5 off the purchase of a new pair of shoes valued at $25 or more. This offer is valid same day only, and some restrictions do apply. The “Sole Destination” program will end on Tuesday, September 30, 2008.About Finish Line
