Mosko Moto debuts its lightweight and antimicrobial Strata Merino base layers created from Nuyarn, a merino fabric derived from a spinning technology that amplifies the natural performance properties of merino.

The Strata Merino zip-off thermal bottoms offer full-length leg zippers over an armor fit. An above-the-boot cut provides quick removal or the option to layer without removing boots or outerwear.

“Temperatures can swing wildly on any adventure. Cold mornings turn into hot days, then possibly back into cold nights when the sun ducks out of sight, and all too often we sacrifice comfort to avoid these tedious moments,” said Scott Bryan, apparel director, Mosko Moto. “That is why we built the Strata Merino base layer. It’s an easy on and off solution using best in class Nuyarn merino to ensure all-day comfort and performance.”

The Strata Merino quarter-zip thermal top features a hoodie pocket, quarter-zip stand collar and removable hood. Reinforced thumb loops keep sleeves in place when layering over or under armor. The combination of technical features and casual styling offers versatility.

Nuyarn technology drafts merino fibers around a performance filament versus twisting, offering higher stretch and recovery, moisture management, warmth, and breathability compared with traditional merino garments.

“We are really excited to work with Mosko Moto and bring our Nuyarn technology to the ADV market. They are an extremely innovative team,” said Andy Wynne, CEO, TMC Ltd, owner and manufacturer of Nuyarn. “Riders will definitely feel the difference with Nuyarn merino in terms of comfort, durability and performance as well as the ability to easily transition between climates.”
