Rack Room Shoes has promoted Dawn Heath to director of integrated marketing and Julie Barr to vice president of human resources. The promotions support the retailer’s commitment to increasing the presence of women in executive positions and accelerating internal advancement.

In her new position, Heath will create and implement the company’s strategic integrated marketing plan. She will also oversee marketing campaigns while managing in-store and online experiences and collaborating with its product, digital, marketing, and regional teams. Heath has worked for Rack Room Shoes for 14 years in various roles. She joined the brand in 2007 as a marketing project manager, focused on regional and local community programs.
Barr joined the Rack Room Shoe team in 2017 and has been instrumental in bringing transformational change to its HR department. Her new role includes a focus on streamlining administrative processes for her team to concentrate on strategic objectives to strengthen its employee experience.
