Diamondback Bicycles introduced a new e-bike category to its Spring 2021 collection. The four pavement e-bikes incorporate reliable components, commuter-ready details and Bosch performance motors.
Alta Cycling, the parent company to Diamondback, boasts a long history of e-bike innovation with sister brands IZIP, Raleigh and Haibike. E-bike technology may be relatively new to Diamondback, but it’s not unfamiliar to the brand. The addition of e-bikes to its roster of ‘acoustic’ bikes marks a change and the beginning of a new era for the brand.
“It has been incredibly exciting to see our hard work, time spent and energy expended come to fruition with this launch,” said Micahel Brown, VP, Product Development, Alta Cycling. “Our four new e-bikes will hit a sweet spot in the Diamondback lineup with a solid combination of high-performing components, a streamlined design and unmatched versatility. With options for a wide variety of users in terms of both end-use and price point, we’re pleased that these bikes will be at the forefront of Diamondback’s foray into the e-bike market.”
