Gymguyz, the virtual personal training company, hired Stacey Cooper as its new vice president of franchise operations.
Cooper comes to Gymguyz from Retro Fitness LLC, where she led business coaching activities for franchise owners located in the Long Island and Staten Island regions. Prior to Retro Fitness, Cooper served as a longtime general manager for New York Sports Clubs. Before entering the fitness industry, Cooper was in the music industry serving as a product manager at RCA Records.
Cooper will lead the franchise operations team and also be instrumental in the brand’s expansion into new lines of business.
Headquartered in Plainview, NY, and founded in 2008 by fitness specialist Josh York, Gymguyz has over 250 locations including the United States, United Kingdom and Canada with plans to open more than 100 globally in the coming year. New Gymguyz’ locations are now set to open in Phoenix, AZ; Greensboro, NC; Charlotte, NC; San Antonio, TX; Chicago, IL; Dallas, TX, and Naples, FL.
