Scott Lester has joined firearms distributor Davidson’s as the director of marketing. In his new position, Scott will lead the marketing team, which will encompass print, digital, and web design.
Scott joins Davidson’s from Compass Marketing, Inc., where he served as EVP of sales. In that role, he was responsible for all sales, marketing, analytics, and digital activities pertaining to their Fortune 500 clients. Scott also has extensive experience in the firearms industry. He worked for Freedom Group from 2004 to 2011 in the roles of director of product management & marketing (FGI Accessories & Licensing), and president of Remington Licensing Corporation. From 2002 to 2004 Scott worked as the director of purchasing for Ellett Brothers. Additionally, he has prior experience in the retail side of the sporting goods industry.
