TAKKLE, Inc., the premier online social network for high school
sports, announced a partnership with MSL Sports, which organizes
combines for high school football players across the country. Through
its many combines, MSL Sports compiles performance data on high school
football players from across the country and delivers that data to
coaches, scouts, and college recruiters.
With this new partnership, TAKKLE will provide its robust social
networking platform to MSL. In addition, participants in an MSL combine
will be able to log onto TAKKLE prior to the event and scout their
competition. During its events, MSL will film and photograph players'
performances, enabling sports fans to log onto TAKKLE and check out the
top videos, photos, and stats online. Finally, college football coaches
and scouts will be able to log onto TAKKLE and track the progress of
some of the best high school football players in the nation.
“We are thrilled to be aligned with MSL, the leading evaluation company
for high school football players,” said David Birnbaum, CEO and
co-founder of TAKKLE. “Through this partnership, TAKKLE will provide
our unique social networking platform to MSL. Athletes, coaches, and
fans can now watch videos of the top high school football players, and
see who MSL's group of experts think are the leading college prospects.”
“Our partnership with TAKKLE gives MSL the social networking platform
we need to communicate with our combine participants and market MSL to
high school football players who may be interested in our events and
properties,” said Lonny Sweet, Managing Director of MSL Sports and
Entertainment. “TAKKLE also allows a large audience of passionate high
school and college football fans to check out the performances of the
leading high school football players in the country.”
TAKKLE's partnership with MSL follows the company's launch of BATTLE ON
TAKKLE (www.takkle.com/battle), a competition in which high school
athletes compete against one another via online video. Sponsors for the
BATTLE ON TAKKLE include P&G's Tampax brand and MET-Rx.
The BATTLE ON TAKKLE launch followed the announcement of TAKKLE's
strategic partnership with SPORTS ILLUSTRATED. TAKKLE is now the
exclusive high school nomination platform for SPORTS ILLUSTRATED's
iconic Faces in the Crowd feature. In addition, TAKKLE features a
weekly Video Face in the Crowd in both the magazine and on SI.com with
the athletes' video highlights and profile available exclusively on
TAKKLE (www.takkle.com/videofaces). Recent Video Faces in the Crowd
honorees include top high school athletes across the nation, including
Trey Vice, Chase Mejia, Blake Lawrence, Kaitlyn Hiltz and Darquavis
Tucker.
TAKKLE, the premier online social network for high school sports,
connects athletes, coaches, fans, friends and recruiters for all high
school athletics. On TAKKLE, high school athletes can track and compare
their stats, post team schedules, scout rivals, and share videos and
photos with their teammates and opponents.
