The Yaktrax Traverse is an all-purpose footwear traction device for use on ice and snow. Constructed to be lightweight and durable, its low-profile spike design can be comfortably worn on any terrain ranging from downtown sidewalks to wilderness trails. The Traverse features 13 stainless steel spikes which are ¼” deep and provide comfortable low-profile traction. A TPR elastomer band easily expands to securely fit over a variety of footwear. The Traverse comes in M, L, XL and XXL sizes that fit women’s sizes 5.5 through 15 and up, and men’s sizes 4.5 through 16, and includes a storage carry bag.
The Yaktrax Ascent is a heavy-duty ice and snow traction device specifically designed for backcountry excursions and wilderness exploration in extreme conditions. Its innovative design features six forward-facing, horizontal toe spikes that help dig into slopes for steep ascents. The durable stainless-steel undercarriage with 16 stainless steel spikes which are 3/8” to 1/2” deep, bite into ice and snow and are designed to withstand any terrain you may encounter in the backcountry. The thick TPR elastomer band easily expands to securely fit over a variety of footwear. Despite its heavy-duty construction, the Ascent is a lightweight and easy-to-use traction device.
