Arnaud Claude, President of TSL Snowshoes, LLC announces the opening of its Vermont production facility, set to manufacture twenty new snowshoe models for the 2006/07 collection. TSL Snowshoes, LLC is located in Williston, VT.
TSL Snowshoes, LLC will manufacture 20 different aluminum snowshoe models to
be distributed worldwide in the coming months. It will also assemble
composite snowshoes and distribute accessories from TSL Sport Equipment.
According to teh company, TSL Snowshoes' team is comprised of former Tubbs' employees. They joined
Claude, Tubbs' former International Sales Manager, to create the new company
after Tubbs moved its entire production to China in 2005.
Claude has hired a team of five employees and plans to expand to
over 25 employees in the next five years. Claude states, “It is my mission
to keep manufacturing snowshoes in the USA, create jobs and re-hire the
hard-working people who dedicated their lives to building high quality
snowshoes in Vermont.”
