The Brunswick Corp. board of directors moved quickly to replace departing chairman and CEO George Buckley, naming current boat division chief, Dustan McCoy, as the new chairman and CEO of the corporation. Buckley is leaving to be the chairman, president and CEO at 3M Company. Brunswick also announced the election of Lawrence Zimmerman, SVP and CFO of Xerox Corp. to the BC board of directors.
McCoy, who has served as a BC vice president and president of the Brunswick Boat Group since its formation in 2000, is credited with nearly doubling the size of the division, primarily through the acquisition of 13 boat brands. Prior to BC, McCoy served as executive vice president of Witco Corp. with operating responsibility for a variety of global businesses.
