Earth Products announced a global expansion and commitment to increasing its reach of Adio, Holden and Planet Earth brands with the addition of Earth Products Europe, the company’s new European headquarters based in Münster, Germany. The strategy for Earth Products Europe is to better serve the large European board-sports community and their market-specific needs with a capable team ingrained in their local market strategies that ultimately mirror the philosophy, ideas and passion that was created over the years in Carlsbad.

Earth Products Europe is a full-service, Pan-European outfit, serving all European and greater European territory sales with a marketing and sales staff to support all distributors and a direct to retailers format for Germany and Austria. All sales and marketing will be handled from the new Münster office and will focus on specific European market needs, including: products and colorways, marketing, events, athlete initiatives and customer service needs.

“Earth Products Europe is a major focus for us in 2006 and forward. The world has increasingly becoming one global market and we’ve seen the need to think and operate as global brands rather than regional ones,” said Daniel Thorden, director of international sales and marketing for Earth Products. “Europe has so much to offer skateboarding in general with athletes, styles, and events, and a European facility will allow us to pay closer attention to our partners needs, and to integrate all of these aspects and business into the company overall.”

The European market has shown solid growth for Earth Products brands and includes 35 distributors in a total of 31 countries along with 145 direct to retail accounts in Germany and 50 direct to retail accounts in Austria.

Earth Products Europe will be under the helm of general manager Daniel Thorden, with marketing efforts led by Anders Tellen, and two account managers supporting European agents and distributors.
