Chaco Footwear, part of the Wolverine Worldwide portfolio, launched the company’s first brand campaign, titled “Life is Fantastic on Foot.”
The campaign, intended to grow brand awareness, consideration and affinity with its core target of outdoor adventurers, launched across digital, social and print “with a series of joyful reminders of the many places only our feet can take us.”
The campaign puts a playful spin on the native properties of digital media, such as giving the YouTube “Skip” button a more adventurous purpose.
The nearly 30-year-old brand partnered with McGarrah Jessee at the end of 2017, as the brand seeks to build upon the success of its iconic performance sandal and evolve into a global outdoor lifestyle brand.
“Chaco has always stood for adventure in the places that only your feet–or paddles–could take you,” said Colin Butts, vice president of marketing at Chaco. “For our first brand campaign we took inspiration from our loyal fans, whose undertakings and optimism are truly infectious.”
McGarrah Jessee is known for its innovative approach to building integrated brand experiences and the unusual levels of brand fandom and loyalty its clients enjoy.
Chaco is the most recent of several outdoor brands McGarrah Jessee has won in the past year, including Brooks Running, Zippo Global and Case Knives. McGarrah Jessee also works with YETI Coolers and Costa Sunglasses.
